CEO on Episurf’s future following medical business decision: “We are now a real estate company”

Sweden Sweden — Episurf Medical has decided to wind down its operational medical technology business and accelerate the transition into a pure-play real estate company. According to CEO Jens Andersson, the measure affects two-thirds of the workforce. He tells Nordic Property News more about why the decision was made, how the real estate company will develop going forward and whether a name change could be on the cards. “There has been a demand for clarity on this issue, and now I think people can see that we are a real estate company,” he tells Nordic Property News.

Episurf signs LOI for acquisition of new portfolio

Sweden Sweden — Episurf Medical has entered into a letter of intent regarding the acquisition of all shares in five property-owning companies. The agreed underlying property value amounts to approximately SEK 505 million before deduction for deferred tax. The parties’ objective is to enter into a final share purchase agreement no later than 30 September 2026, with completion planned for around 1 November 2026.
