Sweden —
Volvo is planning one of Sweden's largest battery parks in Mariestad with 70 MW of power and 260 MWh of storage capacity. But the batteries are just the beginning. According to the Volvo Group's press officer Claes Eliasson, the ambition is to gradually build a commercial energy platform with, among other things, charging, hydrogen, solar and wind power and solutions for circular battery management.
”This is not something we will implement completely on our own,” he says, opening up for partners in several parts of the initiative.
