Nordic — Niam Credit has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Emma Jack as Chief Investment Officer in Stockholm. A seasoned private markets investor with nearly two decades of experience, she has built a career spanning real estate, renewable energy infrastructure, specialty finance and structured finance.

Nordic — Castlelake, a global alternative investment manager specializing in asset-based private credit, and Niam Credit, an alternative credit provider in Northern Europe, announce a strategic partnership to provide financing solutions to the Nordic real estate market. The partnership will focus on whole loan lending in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, with a target deployment of EUR 1 billion.

Nordic — Niam acquires Brunswick Real Estate Capital. The business, which has EUR 2.5 billion in assets under management, will be led by CEO Pontus Sundin and will operate as an independent company under Niam Credit.

Nordic — Brunswick Real Estate Capital has grown its third senior debt property fund by SEK 1.1 billion through investments by, among other actors, the Swedish health care group Praktikertjänst’s pension foundation.

Nordic — Brunswick Real Estate has launched its third senior debt fund Brunswick Real Estate Capital III (BREC III) with SEK 12 billion (EUR 1.2 billion) in secured commitments from investors. Among the investors are some of the largest Nordic institutional investors, including investors in Brunswick’s previous funds. The new fund will focus on lending to commercial property with clear sustainability goals.
