Sweden — Bonava has signed an agreement to acquire 29 building rights for single-family housing in Ältadalen, Nacka, Stockholm, from Ikano Bostad.

Denmark — Bonava has decided to wind down its operations in Copenhagen and exit the Danish market in order to increase efficiency and profitability in the Group.

Sweden — Bonava Sells 83 Rental Apartments in Umeå to K2A.

Finland — Bonava is selling two rental housing projects comprising a total of 72 rental apartments just west of Helsinki to the investor Taaleri Vuokrakoti Ky Fond. The housing units are expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the second and third quarters of 2022.

Finland — Bonava is selling 138 rental apartments in Helsinki, Finland to the investor Icecapital Housing Fund VI Ky. The housing units are expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the second quarter of 2023.

Finland — Bonava is selling 110 rental apartments to the investor Icecapital Housing Fund V in Helsinki. The housing units are expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Finland — Riku Patokoski has been appointed the new Business Unit President of Bonava Finland and member of Bonava’s Executive Management and will take office not later than 1 June 2021.

Nordic — The board of Bonava has appointed Peter Wallin as the new President and CEO. Peter Wallin will take up his position no later than 1 February 2021 and will succeed Joachim Hallengren.

Finland — In two separate transactions, Bonava has sold a total of 131 rental apartments to the real estate fund of the investment company eQ in Turku. The two projects are expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Sweden — Bonava is selling 175 Nordic Swan ecolabelled rental apartments in Tomtebo Gård to the property company Lansa Fastigheter AB. Bonava previously announced that the partners had signed a declaration of intent, which resulted in this transaction and is conditional on the approval of investment support for rental apartments. The project is expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in 2023.

Nordic — Joachim Hallengren will be leaving his position as President and CEO of Bonava AB. Hallengren will remain in his role during a transition period which will end at the latest when a successor takes office. The recruitment process for a new CEO will be initiated immediately.

Nordic — Bonava has successfully issued its inaugural green senior unsecured bond with a volume of SEK 1 billion.

Finland — Bonava is selling a rental project in Turku to the investor Icecapital Housing Fund V. The transaction encompasses 75 rental apartments in the new Kirstinpuisto residential area in Turku.

Norway — Bonava is selling 36 rental apartments in Bergen, Norway, to the property company Fondare. The project is expected to be recognised in profit and transferred to the customer in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Sweden — Lars Granlöf has been appointed new CFO of Bonava and will replace Ann-Sofi Danielsson, who has decided to retire.

Sweden — Bonava is starting the production of 212 rental apartments in Sigtuna. In the first quarter of 2020, an agreement was signed for the sale of the project, subject to a building permit, to Mästerbo Fastighets AB, a company jointly owned by Estea and CBRE Global Investors.

Denmark — Bonava is selling 121 rental apartments in Østerbro, Copenhagen, to the real estate company Hines, who have acquired the asset on behalf of the Hines pan-European Core Fund (HECF).

Sweden — Bonava is starting the production of 35 tenant-owner apartments in Ultuna, Uppsala. In total, Bonava is planning around 170 homes in several phases.

Sweden — Bonava has become the first residential developer in Europe to receive formal approval from Science Based Targets initiative for the company's climate targets. Until 2030, Bonava will reduce the company's negative impact on the climate by 50 percent by adopting climate targets that conform to the IPCC's recommendation to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.

Sweden — Bonava has initiated the production of 33 housing units in Umeå’s new city district, Tomtebo Gård. In total, Bonava is planning to build 350 homes, divided into several phases and comprising both rental and tenant-owner apartments. It is estimated that the first housing units will be handed over to customers in the second half of 2021.

Sweden — Bonava is selling 381 rental apartments in two projects to Mästerbo Fastighets AB, a company jointly owned by Estea and CBRE Global Investors. The sale is being conducted at an underlying property value of SEK 804 million, excluding deductions for deferred taxes.
