Denmark — Niam has signed an agreement to sell a Danish residential portfolio, which includes the real estate company HD Ejendomme, to Heimstaden. A total of 152 residential properties are included in the portfolio, comprising 6,237 residential units, of which several have been developed during Niam's ownership.

Sweden — Logistic Contractor, which is part of the Wästbygg Group, has signed an agreement with Niam. Niam acquires, through one of its funds, a logistics facility under production in Farsta south of Stockholm. The transaction is being carried out as a forward commitment, where Niam will take over the property when it is completed during the first quarter of 2022. The purchase price amounts to approximately SEK 900 million.

Nordic — Jennifer Andersson and Rikard Henriksson were named acting Managing Partners when CEO Fredrik Jonsson left Niam in August. The Board of Niam has now made these positions permanent.

Denmark — Niam has entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of 70 terraced houses in Hillerød Municipality in Greater Copenhagen area of Denmark. The residential units are acquired from Sophienberg Gruppen and Lemvigh-Müller. The sellers will deliver the units turnkey on June 1st, 2022.

Denmark — Niam has entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of 149 apartments in Farum Kaserne and Nærheden, in the attractive Greater Copenhagen area of Denmark. The residential units are divided into three properties and the apartments are modern and of very high quality.

Nordic — The Board of Directors of Niam has appointed Jennifer Andersson and Rikard Henriksson as acting Managing Partners. The previous CEO, Fredrik Jonsson, is stepping down with immediate effect. The process to recruit a new permanent CEO of Niam will begin immediately.

Nordic — Niam adds several new key-players.

Sweden — Novi has received the management assignment for Niam's two office projects The Dockworks and Uno in Värtahamnen, Stockholm.

Sweden — Niam acquires a large residential portfolio in Östersund from Rikshem.

Denmark — Niam has entered into a binding agreement to buy 238 terraced houses of approximately 23,000 sqm in the area Tirsbæk Bakker, close to Vejle, Denmark.

Sweden — Niam has acquired a modern and well-functioning retail park in an established micro location in Malmö. The retail park consists of four properties and ~48,500 square meters lettable area with 16 tenants.

Finland — Niam and Catella Asset Management have agreed to co-operate in the sales and leasing management of Nordic Tower Properties portfolio owned by Partners Group and managed by Niam. The portfolio consists of 42 properties owned by five different companies with a total leasable area of over 155,000 square meters.

Denmark — Niam has hired Maria Winther Fladeland as Director in Acquisitions. Maria has most recently worked as a Transaction Manager at Focus Asset Management.

Denmark — Niam has entered into a binding agreement to buy a residential portfolio from Bach Gruppen consisting of ~30,600 square meters, divided between 300 residential units located in central Jylland.

Denmark — Niam has acquired Copenhagen Towers, the landmark office and hotel complex located in Ørestad, 10 minutes south of Copenhagen city.

Nordic — Niam completed the final close for its seventh opportunistic real estate fund, Niam Nordic VII. With a total of EUR 1.1 billion in equity commitments, it is the largest private real estate fund in the Nordics.

Denmark — Niam has agreed to sell a residential portfolio located in three locations in Greater Copenhagen and Zealand, Denmark, to the listed real estate company Heimstaden.

Nordic — SBB continues to grow within social infrastructure through a number of acquisitions of community properties in the Nordic metropolitan regions comprising a total of approximately 47,000 square meters of lettable space. The properties are located in the Stockholm region (Täby and Strängnäs), the Copenhagen region (Glostrup and Slagelse), the Oslo region (Kongsvinger) and the Aarhus region (Randers).
