Serneke Sweden's last contract: "We thought they would make it"

A few days before Christmas Eve, Serneke Sweden's last contract was signed. A turnkey contract that would ensure that a new warehouse building would be built for the City of Gothenburg's cultural administration. The order was worth approximately EUR 283 million. But the fact that Serneke Sweden was heading for bankruptcy was not suspected by the municipal real estate company Higab, the other party to the contract.
