Baravaragruppen has been operating in Helsingborg since 1999 and currently runs a number of restaurants and venues with different profiles, including Bara Vara, Sillen & Makrillen, D35, Jacob Hansens Hus, The Tivoli and Helsingborg Live. In 2026, the group will also establish itself one floor up at Helsingborg C, where it will introduce a new restaurant and experience concept. Further details about the concept will be presented at a later stage.

Helsingborg C is a central hub with approximately 40,000 people passing through daily. In addition to train and bus connections, the site is the departure point for the ferries to Helsingør. Following an extensive redevelopment completed in 2020, the station today offers a bright, modern and welcoming environment with shops, cafés, a hair salon, coworking spaces and an upper level with restaurants.

“We are proud and delighted to become part of Wihlborgs’ continued development of Helsingborg C. With our upcoming restaurant and entertainment establishment, we want to contribute to the heart of the city and create a vibrant meeting place for both residents and visitors. Helsingborg is close to our hearts, and we feel strong support in this collaboration. By establishing ourselves at Helsingborg C, we become part of the city’s gateway to the outside world – a place where people meet and form their first impressions of our city,” says Jesper Liljegren of Baravaragruppen AB.

“Baravaragruppen has experience, a strong brand and a clear understanding of Helsingborg and what is in demand in different locations and during different seasons. We share an ambition to develop Helsingborg and create vibrant meeting places, and I very much look forward to following their establishment with us,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
