The renewed lease for 12,000 sqm will take effect on 1 January 2027. In addition, the government agency is establishing itself in Bricks with a six-year lease for 1,000 sqm, moving in May 2026, which means there will be no vacancy in the property.

When Wihlborgs acquired the properties Node, Bricks, and Cube (Nya Vattentornet 2–4) on Mobilvägen in 2018–2019, the area was characterized by high vacancy rates and a limited range of premises. Today, the area offers a wide variety of larger and smaller spaces, hosting around 50 companies across different sectors. At the same time, the service concept has been developed, and sustainability has been a central part of the value creation, including energy efficiency improvements and mobility solutions.

“The extension with Ericsson and the new lease with the government agency demonstrates how the right combination of location, content, and long-term development creates attractive environments for knowledge-intensive businesses. We have maintained a long-term focus on developing the properties on Mobilvägen, and it is gratifying to see how the area today accommodates a wide range of activities, with Ericsson as one of the key players,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
