“Together with Krossen and Utsikten, we now have eight residential projects under construction locally for K2 Bolig this summer. First and foremost, this is a very gratifying vote of confidence and confirmation of a collaboration that works exceptionally well. Having the same developer, architect, design-build contractor, and several key suppliers and consultants across these projects creates important synergies for all parties, both during the design phase and throughout construction,” says Bendik Aarstad, District Manager at Veidekke Building Rogaland.
The Krossen development consists of two-storey homes located in Hundvågkrossen, with the sea as its closest neighbour. The apartments will range in size from 40 to 93 square metres and will feature glazed balconies, a shared parking garage, and bicycle parking facilities. The Utsikten project is located close to Vardeneset Church. Apartments will range in size from 40 to 104 square metres. Residents will have access to a shared community building and guest apartment, and a KIWI grocery store will be located on the ground floor of one of the buildings.
“We are very pleased with sales progress so far and the positive market response these projects have received. These are attractive apartments offering excellent sunlight and views, well-conceived layouts, and striking architecture. We look forward to commencing construction together with Veidekke,” says Kjersti Alvik Kulleseid, Project Director at K2 Bolig.
Construction work will commence almost immediately. Handover of the Krossen project is scheduled for late 2027, while Utsikten is expected to be completed in autumn 2028.
The contracts were included in Veidekke’s order backlog for the second quarter.
