Bicky Chakraborty passed away after period of illness. He passed away this weekend at his home surrounded by his family.

Bicky Chakraborty was a well-known entrepreneur, business leader and philanthropist. He came to Sweden from India as a 21-year-old and in parallel with his studies he saw a need to improve the housing situation for Stockholm's students. From there, a straight line goes to the large, well-run and successful hotel chain, Elite Hotels of Sweden, that we all see today. Elite Hotels of Sweden today consists of 41 hotels, the gastropub chain The Bishops Arms, the spa concept Vana Spa and the restaurants Paolos.
