Sweden — Wallenstam and the Swedish Union of Tenants in Stockholm have agreed on a rent agreement for 2023.

Sweden — Early next fall, Friskis & Svettis will move to new premises in Mölnlycke Fabriker. Then all members will be welcomed to a newly renovated premises of 1,400 square meters right in the heart of the district. With an entrance from Bruksgatan, a pleasant thoroughfare that runs through Mölnlycke Fabriker, the location will be more publicly and easily accessible for both local residents and visitors.

Sweden — Wallenstam is acquiring a project close to the city in Stockholm from Ikano Bostad. The project has a completed zoning plan and the planned production start is already in 2023.

Sweden — At the statutory Board meeting after yesterday's Annual General Meeting of Wallenstam AB, the Board decided to co-opt Rebecka Wallenstam as a Board member.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed an agreement to acquire a commercial property in central Gothenburg for an agreed property value of SEK 1,125 million. The property will be taken into possession on February 1, 2022.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed an agreement to sell two residential properties in Tyresö for an agreed property value of just over SEK 1 billion.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed an agreement to sell six properties to SBB. The properties are located in Sundbyberg and in Gröndal, Stockholm and are being sold at an agreed property value of SEK 1,150 million.

Sweden — The construction of Wallenstam’s 10,000th apartment since the turn of the millennium has started. The production rate of apartments has gradually increased since the company resumed its new construction operations. The magic number of 10,000 apartment construction starts has been passed through the Kompositören project in Rosendal, Uppsala.

Sweden — Akademibokhandeln, Hestra and Scotch & Soda will soon open new stores in the middle of central Gothenburg. Inspiring store concepts together with a desire for a good location and greater visibility are a common denominator for Wallenstam’s new tenants.

Sweden — The board of Wallenstam has resolved, pursuant to the authority granted by the general meeting April 27, 2021, to sell 7,000,000 Class B treasury shares in Wallenstam, representing approximately 2.12 percent of the total number of shares and approximately 1.09 percent of the votes.

Sweden — Klarna is carrying out a new issue in which Wallenstam is investing SEK 125 million.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed a lease with L2 Fastigheter for 420 square meters at Vasagatan 43 B in Gothenburg. In October, they will move into their new office premises in the Avenyn area.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed a lease with Sweden’s largest private healthcare provider, Praktikertjänst. Right next to Rosendal Square in Uppsala, Praktikertjänst is planning to open both a healthcare center and a child healthcare center in late 2021.

Sweden — Wallenstam has signed a letter of intent with the City of Stockholm regarding the building, which has been used for the evacuation of Östermalmshallen. The building, which is located at Östermalmstorg, opened in 2016 when the regular market hall was to be renovated, and it closed for good on February 15, 2020.

Sweden — Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden acquires two centrally located community service properties let to school operators from Wallenstam for an agreed total property value of MSEK 380.

Sweden — Wallenstam now has 10,000 rental apartments under management. The tenant Dennis Furlan and his family are moving into Wallenstam’s 10,000th apartment in the new production in Elisedal, Gothenburg.

Sweden — As a part of Wallenstam’s sustainability work, four climate targets are now being introduced. The aim of the targets is to further reduce the carbon footprint from the building operations and from the properties’ energy consumption and residual waste. In addition, all business trips shall be carried out in a carbon-neutral way.

Sweden — Wallenstam has started the construction of 85 apartments, of which 12 are so-called co-living apartments, in the development project Kallebäcks Terrasser in Gothenburg. During the quarter, a total of 145 apartments were completed and occupied in two different projects. In September, land was also taken into possession for future new production in Österåker.

Sweden — Wallenstam has issued a green bond under its green framework and MTN program. The issue consists of SEK 300 million with a maturity of two years and with a fixed interest rate of 0.695 percent. The bond is unsecured.
