Nordisk Renting has acquired three logistics properties through a sale and leaseback transaction with DFDS, which has signed long-term lease agreements with Nordisk Renting in Borås, Karlshamn and Vaggeryd. The properties are future-proofed for DFDS' operations and meet high standards on functionality and sustainability.
The properties are of a high technical standard and equipped with modern solutions that meet current ESG requirements, with expected environmental certification according to BREEAM In-Use, at Very Good level. They are also prepared for the installation of solar panels.
"The solution suits us well. It aligns with our strategic priorities and will ensure continued flexible operations and high-quality service for our customers. We look forward to a long-term and successful collaboration." says Niklas Anderson, EVP Logistics, DFDS.
"By offering long-term and flexible real estate solutions, we help our customers free up capital and focus on what they do best, their core business, while maintaining control. We are pleased to welcome DFDS as a new and long-term customer. This transaction is in line with our strategy to offer alternative financing through sale and leaseback to large corporates and public sector," says Anna Hallsten, CEO of Nordisk Renting.
