Since 2012, Redito has founded several real estate companies in retail, warehouses, light industry and housing. The new company Selegio will focus on retail locations throughout Sweden.
– Redito has a strong team with extensive experience from investments, management and development in the retail segment in the Nordics. Together with PRI and Lantmännen Fastigheter, we will build a real estate company where quality, customer focus and long-term perspective are the watchwords, says Patrik Hegbart, co-owner and co-founder of Redito.
The goal is to initially build a property portfolio with a value of at least two billion SEK.
The company is led by CEO Carl Strufve, with a background as Nordic Head of Grosvenor Europe and many years of experience from Unibail-Westfield and Atrium-Ljungberg.
– For PRI, the shareholding in Selegio is a long-term investment with the goal of creating good returns for our owner companies. Redito's solid experience and extensive expertise play a decisive role in this type of investment. In this segment we find attractive direct yields that have proven resilient during economic fluctuations, says Peter Ragnarsson, head of alternative investments at PRI.
– Lantmännen Fastigheter is one of Sweden's larger real estate companies. We manage and develop the group's production properties and offices, as well as a growing share of external properties. Through co-ownership in Selegio, we strengthen our position in the retail segment and gain access to Redito's experience, which creates the conditions for increased returns for our owners – the Swedish farmers, says Joachim Haas, CEO, Lantmännen Fastigheter.
Advisors in the process have been Kilpatrick and TM & Partners.
