Opened in 1992, Zeppelin is the most important commercial and event hub for the entire southern Oulu region. Upon its completion, Zeppelin was one of the first shopping centres in northern Finland and is remembered for the high-profile events of its early years, including visits from international stars that attracted huge crowds. Zeppelin remains the leading retail destination in its catchment area, with strong grocery offering and a diverse selection of fashion and leisure stores. The shopping centre has approximately 30,000 square metres of lettable area and was visited by ca. 3 million customers in 2024.

Antti Pelli, Senior Director, Capital Markets, JLL Finland: “We are extremely pleased to have successfully completed this landmark sale. The transaction is exceptional in many ways; the asset is a large shopping centre located outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, and the buyer is a group of domestic investors. The deal is the result of long and patient teamwork and demonstrates JLL's unique ability to unlock transactions across all property types throughout Finland. We are particularly happy to see a buyer with strong local presence continuing the successful development of Zeppelin.”

JLL acted as the seller's commercial advisor in the transaction. Krogerus acted as the seller's legal advisor.
