Platzer has reached an agreement with Infranode to sell the property Högsbo 55:13, covering 10,000 square meters. The property is being sold for SEK 552 million net after deduction of deferred tax. Withdrawal will take place on February 28, 2025. Catella has been an advisor to the seller.

The school was developed by Platzer and was completed in the summer of 2024. The property is environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad silver. The property is fully leased to Internationella Engelska Skolan (International English School), which has signed a 20-year lease with an annual rent of SEK 29 million and 100 percent indexation.

"I am proud of Platzer's contribution to the transformation of Södra Änggården. In our ambition to create a vibrant district, the state-of-the-art school, which we have completed, is an important piece of the puzzle. I am pleased that we have found a long-term owner for the school in Infranode, who will continue to manage and develop the property," says Marie Teike, Business Area Manager Development at Platzer.

"The investment in Södra Änggården has great potential, and we look forward to contributing to the development of the area. Well-functioning school buildings play a crucial role in society, and we are proud to be part of creating stable conditions for education. With this acquisition, we strengthen our position as a long-term owner of social infrastructure in the Nordics and we look forward to continuing to make more investments in the sector," says Joel Löfroth, Head of Swedish Investments at Infranode.

Södra Änggården is a new district in Gothenburg that is emerging at the foot of Änggårdsbergen with 1,900 homes, a school, a preschool, restaurants and services. The school is part of the first stage of the transformation of the Högsbo industrial area into Södra Änggården. The area is being built based on the vision of "a more beautiful city life" with proximity to both the city pulse and nature and the sea. Platzer is the initiator of the urban development and continues to have coordination responsibility for the development of the district.
