Lund International School is a non-profit school that was founded in 2005. The new primary school is being developed in Brunnshög, where the need for international education is great. The growing district in northern Lund focuses on a living, innovation and research environment. Today, the research facilities ESS and MAX IV are located here, as well as several world-leading research companies.

“We are very much looking forward to contributing new long-awaited school places to families from all over the world and at the same time participating in the urban development of Brunnshög. The research and development that is conducted in this high-profile environment will not only benefit Lund but all of Sweden and the world, “says Jakob Schuster, project developer at Hemsö.

“We look forward to welcoming our students to modern and business-friendly premises in an environment that promotes innovation and development. We will be where we are needed, as many of Lund Municipality's international families are connected to the location,” says Teun Dekker, board member of Lunds International School.

Construction is scheduled to start in spring 2025 and completion is expected in the spring semester of 2027. The building will be environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver, with a Gold level for energy consumption.
