Henrik Bastman has a solid background in the finance and real estate sectors. He previously served as Head of Nordics at AXA Real Estate and was a partner at Genesta. Prior to that, he worked at JLL after beginning his career at J.P. Morgan. He holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.

“Henrik’s extensive experience and strong leadership will help further develop our operations and strengthen our position within alternative investments. I am therefore very pleased that Henrik has accepted the role of leading the company forward and advancing our real estate offering in Sweden and the Nordic region,” says Truls Nergaard, CEO of Storebrand Eiendom and Chairman of the Board at Storebrand Fastigheter.

Henrik Bastman will assume his new role as CEO on May 1 and will continue in his current position as Portfolio Manager for the Storebrand Nordic Real Estate Fund. At the same time, he will step down from his position as a board member of Storebrand Fastigheter.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to Marita, who has played a key role in establishing our strong position in the Swedish market today. Under her leadership, the business has grown from owning and managing a property portfolio valued at SEK 1.5 billion to a portfolio worth SEK 14.4 billion. SPP Fastigheter now has 15 investors, with SPP Pension and Insurance being the largest. Marita’s deep expertise in building property portfolios with strong risk-adjusted returns and a focus on sustainability has been instrumental to our success—along with her ability to build a highly qualified team,” Truls Nergaard concludes.
