The recruitment process to find a new CEO has started, and Mikael Lundström will remain in his role until a successor has been appointed. Afterward, he will continue to support the company as a senior advisor with a focus on ongoing growth until his retirement.
“After nearly 13 fantastic years as CEO of Svefa, it is time to pass the baton to a new leader. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the company’s development in a new role as senior advisor and board member,” says Mikael Lundström.
“The board is extremely pleased with Mikael’s contributions and dedication over many years. He has played a crucial role in Svefa’s development, both during successful growth phases and in periods with more challenging conditions. We are pleased that Mikael will remain with Svefa for some time in a new role,” says Charlotte Bergman, Chair of the Board.
At the regular Annual General Meeting of Svefa Partners AB, three new board members have also been appointed: Patrik Attemark, Annika Selin, and Mikael Lundström. Following this change, the board consists of Charlotte Bergman (Chair), Per Granath, Ludwig Andréen, Kristina Alvendal, Patrik Attemark, Annika Selin, and Mikael Lundström as regular members. Long-standing board member Per Leopoldsson has chosen not to stand for re-election.
