The reorganization is designed to prepare Archus for future challenges. Through the "One Archus" initiative, the company’s business areas will be brought together under a unified leadership, which is expected to generate greater customer value, increased agility, and improved cost efficiency.
The decision to restructure was initiated by Group CEO Gustav Källén, and the new organizational model has been jointly developed by the executive management team. In connection with the reorganization, Gustav Källén has chosen to leave the company this autumn to make way for a more localized and decentralized leadership model—a decision that Per Ångquist, CEO of Archus Architecture, has also chosen to follow.
The new organization will consist of 70 employees, compared to the current 90. Archus will retain a strong presence at five of its current six offices – Västerås, Stockholm, Uppsala, Borlänge, and Malmö.
“The current market situation has created a need for reorganization, which unfortunately affects talented colleagues. However, it is also necessary to make decisions that secure Archus’ long-term competitiveness. I am confident that the new leadership team and local ownership under Michael Larsson’s guidance will make us stronger, both now and when the market rebounds,” says Gustav Källén.
“This is an important decision presented by the management and fully supported by the Board. By uniting the organization through 'One Archus,' we are taking a decisive step toward remaining resilient in an evolving industry. I would like to thank Gustav for his decisiveness and leadership throughout this transformation,” says Knut Rost, Chairman of the Board at Archus.
“We are now entering the next phase, bringing together all business competencies in a single management group. This marks a continuation of our journey toward One Archus –combining the architect, business developer, and project manager to deliver integrated solutions and ensure project execution. While some areas face challenges, we also see growth in others,” says Michael Larsson, incoming CEO of the Archus Group.
