The facility is in the Priorparken industrial area in Brøndby. This is an attractive location with easy access to both Copenhagen city centre and its airport, Kastrup, as well as being close to the motorway network surrounding the Danish capital. The site is 53,150 sqm in total, and the logistics facility has a lettable area of 25,400 sqm The property is also well-connected for the railway network. The acquisition is being undertaken as a corporate transaction with an underlying property value of approximately DKK 285 million (EUR 38 million), financed with internal funds and external credit. PFA Real Estate, the seller, is a subsidiary of PFA Pension, a prominent entity in the Danish market.

 

The existing tenant at the property is Postnord, the Swedish-Danish postal and logistics organisation that already operates from several of Catena’s facilities across both countries. Postnord’s lease runs until 2035, and the estimated net operating surplus amounts to approximately DKK 16.7 million (EUR 2.2 million).
