Axfast has acquired the property Tranhuvudet 8, located on Kungsgatan next to Hötorget in Stockholm CBD. This is the second time in just over a year that they have purchased from SEB Trygg Liv, as the two neighboring properties Vinkelhaken 10 and 18 changed owners in 2024. Two years ago, Axfast also bought the Skotten block in the same area and they have since continued to look for flexible properties in the best location. Axfast also owns Vinkelhaken 9 in the same block.

The properties are located on Kungsgatan, right next to Hötorget, and are among Stockholm's strongest office, hotel and retail locations with proximity to all conceivable services and public transport.

"With this addition, we are strengthening our position in an area where we are already strong, and where we see potential for the future. Tranhuvudet 8 is a good addition that contributes to our long-term strategy for Hötorget - a place where commerce, culture and city life meet," the company writes in its press release.

In the acquisition, Axfast used DLA Piper and Hifab as advisors.
