The Dalata Group's board of directors intends to unanimously accept the offer. Pandox owns approximately 91.5 percent of the newly formed company, and Eiendomspar 8.5 percent. Eiendomspar is the largest owner of Pandox.

The acquisition comprises a portfolio of 56 hotel operations consisting of 31 properties with ownership rights and long-term leasehold rights, 22 hotels with leases and 3 hotels under management agreements in Ireland, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

At the same time, the parties have also signed a framework agreement with the hotel operator Scandic Hotels to be the operating partner for the acquired portfolio with the intention of dividing the property operations and the hotel operations within the Dalata Group after completion.

The parties have also entered into an option agreement with Scandic where the hotel operations may be sold to the hotel operator after the division for the equivalent of SEK 5.6 billion.

The acquisition is financed through a combination of existing cash and cash equivalents and a credit facility through Pandox.
