Index eligibility is reviewed by index providers FTSE Russell, EPRA and Nareit every quarter, where companies are assessed based on whether they meet minimum requirements within various criteria, such as information, liquidity, free turnover of shares and income generated from properties.

Inclusion in the EPRA index usually increases a company's visibility among investors with active investment strategies as well as with passive funds, often with positive effects on the liquidity and market capitalization of the shares.
