Björken 8 is an office property located in central Falun, a short walk from the travel centre, the central station and the city centre. Bonnier News has signed a five-year green lease agreement for approximately 770 sqm of fully renovated office space on the third floor, with occupancy scheduled for September 2026. WSP is already a tenant in the property, and its premises of approximately 1,500 sqm will be upgraded to include, among other things, larger social areas as well as focus and meeting rooms. WSP has signed an eight-year green lease.

"The commitments from Bonnier News and WSP enable us to take a significant step forward in the development of the property. Both offices are being developed with a strong focus on reuse and smart energy solutions, creating modern workplaces that are both functional and support our tenants’ brand experience. We continue to see a strong demand for well-located, high-quality office space, and these leases are a clear confirmation of that,” says Maria Jälmestål, Commercial Property Manager, Diös Falun.

"We moved here in 2017 and have been very satisfied with the location and the collaboration with Diös. They have been attentive to our needs and have gradually expanded and adapted our premises over time. We now look forward to upgrades that will further enhance our workplace experience,” says Monika Andersson, Nordic Workplace Lead, WSP.

A green lease agreement means that the parties jointly plan the areas with the ambition to reduce climate impact and energy use.
