The residential buildings on Slåttervägen in Trollhättan have a new owner, and at the turn of the month, property company Balder will assume ownership and management of the properties. For tenants, the change in ownership means a large and financially stable landlord with local presence, local knowledge and extensive experience in property management and area development.
Balder has owned and managed various types of properties in Trollhättan since 2005, and residential properties in Kronogården since 2013. The expansion of the portfolio represents a natural step in Balder’s long-term commitment to the city and the district.
“We believe in Trollhättan and in Kronogården and want to contribute to their continued development. The newly acquired properties are a strong complement to our existing portfolio and give Balder greater opportunities to help create safe and pleasant living environments in Kronogården,” says Eva Jonasson, Press Officer at Balder.
The transaction includes five properties, one of which is held under a leasehold title, comprising a total of approximately 300 apartments. The properties also include a number of garages and parking spaces. They were acquired from Slåttervägen Fastigheter Living AB, which was declared bankrupt in autumn 2025.
Balder will assume ownership and landlord responsibilities on 2 February. Initially, the focus will be on getting to know the new tenants and buildings in greater detail, in order to identify needs and establish appropriate maintenance and development plans.
In Trollhättan, as in all locations where Balder operates, the company works towards customer-oriented, efficient and relationship-driven property management. This includes a local office with staff responsible for management, leasing and operations. Local presence and active dialogue with tenants are among the aspects Balder expects will be appreciated by the new residents.
