The portfolio is a combination of large, modern warehouse and light industrial properties and is approximately 75 per cent let to a mix of well-established domestic and international industrial and service companies. One of the properties is located in the Jursla industrial area, in close proximity to the E4 motorway. The other five properties form a contiguous cluster directly adjacent to the port in the Slottshagen industrial area.
Areim will actively work on letting, developing, and adapting the premises in line with the needs and growth of the tenants, while at the same time implementing targeted improvements to enhance the quality and energy efficiency of the properties.
The acquisition in Norrköping complements Areim’s existing portfolio in Greater Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Västerås, and Linköping. The portfolio now consists of roughly 110 properties with approximately 430,000 sqm of lettable area, and also includes a significant volume of unused building rights as well as ongoing development.
Setterwalls acted as legal adviser. Glimstedt acted as the seller’s legal adviser, and Angermann as sell-side adviser on the transaction. Closing took place on 1 April.
