The development site is located adjacent to the marina in Fiskebäck, an area offering close proximity to both the archipelago and central Gothenburg. Klövern plans to develop approximately 130 homes, with a focus on larger apartments, many of which will offer sea views. The area development also includes a new waterfront promenade to improve public access to the shoreline, as well as the refurbishment of a nearby park.
"This is a unique location with few comparable new-build residential projects in the region. The combination of waterfront living and proximity to a major city makes the area highly attractive. This acquisition allows us to further strengthen our position in Gothenburg while expanding our development portfolio with a project that has a short lead time to construction," says Mathias Wallestam, CEO of Klövern.
"We see significant potential in Fiskebäck. It is a location with a vibrant harbour environment, close access to the archipelago and a strong local identity. By introducing larger apartments in an area currently dominated by single-family homes, we are broadening the housing offering while contributing to the continued development of Fiskebäck," says Sofia Bredberg Hanser, Head of Business Development at Klövern.
"After several years of collaboration with the property's previous owner, the Seldén family, we are delighted to take the next step in the project's development while deepening our partnership with Klövern. We look forward to continuing our involvement through the construction of the residential blocks, waterfront promenade and public spaces," says Jan Edlund, Group CEO of Tornstaden.
