The project was awarded to the team behind Samfori Fastigheter through the landlord procurement process conducted by Karlskrona Municipality in 2022. The new care home was completed in December 2025 and became operational in early 2026.

The facility offers modern apartments in an attractive location close to central Karlskrona and the waterfront. The property has been designed with a strong focus on safety, functionality and well-being and includes features such as a landscaped courtyard, orangery, rooftop terrace and communal meeting areas for both residents and staff. The building has achieved Miljöbyggnad Silver certification.
