The building rights relate to Brukskvarteren at Tumba skog, where the detailed development plan has gained legal force. The acquisition was carried out in collaboration with Aeonic Investment Platforms. The project comprises approximately 150 rental apartments distributed across two blocks, with buildings ranging from three to five storeys. The apartments are primarily planned as two- and three-room apartments with kitchens.
Brukskvarteren is within walking distance of Tumba town centre and Tumba station. The surrounding area also offers schools, preschools, sports facilities and opportunities for swimming. The planned development will be designed with consideration for the surrounding landscape and the cultural heritage environment at Tumba Bruk.
Storsala already has projects in the southern Stockholm region, including in Vårberg, Hagsätra and Rågsved.
The project will be developed together with Lindesberg's Bygg AB, which will also serve as the main contractor. The collaboration builds on the strategic partnership between the companies.
"The acquisition is fully aligned with our strategy of growing through residential development in attractive locations in the Stockholm region. In Tumba, we have the opportunity to develop new rental apartments in a location that combines good transport links with proximity to services and nature," says Erik Engvall, CEO of Storsala.
Closing has taken place. Construction is scheduled to start in spring 2027, with completion expected in 2029.
Osborne Clarke acted as legal adviser to Storsala.
