In fierce competition, Åsa Nikitidis was named the winner and received the award during the Fastighetskvinnan seminar, held at Berns in Stockholm on Tuesday.
“I am so happy. It feels like a huge confirmation that I am not just someone who talks, but that there is something more behind it,” said Åsa Nikitidis with a laugh.
The winner was selected by a jury consisting of Kristina Alvendal (Chair), Biljana Pehrsson, Johanna Skogestig and last year's winner Elin Andersen. The jury's motivation reads:
"The Young Woman in Real Estate of the Year takes matters into her own hands. With a clear focus on developing and improving, she takes initiatives that leave a lasting impact on the business long after her projects have been completed. New ways of working to improve the entire chain are something she readily implements. Her guiding principles are 'good communication, driving things forward, execution and follow-through.' The Young Woman in Real Estate of the Year sets high standards for her own continued development. She expects the same of those around her, and she gets results. Her ambition to develop the construction and real estate industry goes far beyond the scope of her regular job description. Through her own initiatives to establish networks and workshops, she turns words into action, benefiting many. With her strong commitment, high ambition and ability to combine business value with societal value, Åsa Nikitidis is the Young Woman in Real Estate of the Year 2026."
As her prize, Åsa Nikitidis received the leadership programme "The Personal Expression" from Ledarstudion, presented by the award's sponsor Newsec.
