The residential block will feature high-standard apartments ranging from one to four rooms and a kitchen. The project will be environmentally certified in accordance with Miljöbyggnad 4.1, with a focus on energy efficiency, and H2 is optimizing the project from a life-cycle perspective to minimize its climate impact.
The acquisition is strategic for H2. The group's business areas will be involved in parallel: H2 Projektutveckling will lead the development, while H2 Entreprenad will construct the residential block.
"Järfälla is a municipality where we have previously been active, and Barkarbystaden is one of the region's most expansive urban development areas. The location is excellent, and we are convinced that the residential block will complement the area very well. The acquisition represents a strategic step for us. We can leverage the expertise of the entire group, from project development to construction, to create attractive and cost-efficient homes in a district that continues to grow," says Rikard Hansson, CEO of H2 Group.
Construction is expected to take approximately two years, with the first residents scheduled to move in during autumn 2029.
