“This is the best month of February we have had since we started registering constructions startups on a month basis in 2010” says Per Jæger, CEO at Boligprodusentenes Forening.

It is mainly apartments that are being built, where the increase is a total of 146 percent.

“The continued onset of residences (Feb 14-Feb 15) is 26,548. It is pleasing that the numbers are rising, but we have a long way to go until it covers the annual need of 37,000 new residences.”
