Denmark — The hotel will be leased by Scandic, who has signed a 20-year lease agreement.

Sweden — Skanska’s President and CEO Johan Karlström has notified the Skanska Board of Directors that he wishes to step down.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a lease with PTC for about 250,000 square feet, 23,125 square meters, at its 121 Seaport office development in Boston, USA. The lease agreement is for 18.5 years and occupancy will take place in early 2019, when PTC moves its global headquarters to 121 Seaport. With this first lease, the building is 63 percent leased.

Norway — Axer Eiendom has given Skanska the contract for the housing project Gartnerløkken in Åsane, Bergen.

Sweden — Arla Foods will move their headquarters to Skanska’s project Solna United in Arenastaden, Solna.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Locum to rebuild and expand S:t Görans Hospital in Stockholm. The contract is worth about EUR 136M.

Sweden — The seven-storey care center will be about 33,000 square meters large and is owned by Västfastigheter.

Nordic — Skanska divests two properties in Stockholm and one in Oslo to Vasakronan, Aberdeen and Entra for a total of EUR 225M.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Swedavia to build a hotel at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden. The contract is worth about MSEK 710 (EUR 73M).

Sweden — Skanska has divested three properties in the area Flemingsbergsdalen in Stockholm for an underlying property value of about EUR 87M. The buyer is Niam.

Sweden — Skanska has divested three buildings at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden, to Intea Fastigheter.

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Familjebostäder to build a block consisting of 178 rental apartments in Stockholm. The contract is worth about EUR 41M.

Sweden — Skanska invests about EUR 44M in the office project Epic in Malmö, Sweden. The office building will be six stories high with a total leasable area of around 17,000 square meters. 

Finland — Skanska has signed an agreement with the Helsinki Housing Production Department ATT to build 189 apartments in Helsinki, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 38M, about SEK 360M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of 2017. 

Sweden — Skanska executes several changes in their Senior Executive Team. Among others, Anders Danielsson, Peter Wallin and Pierre Olofsson will get new roles.

Denmark — Heimstaden has bought the residential project Ö-huset in Copenhagen from Skanska.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with SFE Produksjon to build Østerbø power plant in the municipality of Høyanger, Norway. The contract is worth EUR 39M.

Sweden — Skanska has sold the office building Piren 2 in Gothenburg for about EUR 43M.

Sweden — Caroline Walméus has been appointed Senior Vice President Controlling at Skanska on a permanent basis. She has since February been acting as Senior Vice President Controlling and is reporting to Peter Wallin, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Skanska.

Sweden — Skanska has sold the office building Laboratoriet 1 in Solna, Sweden, to Ramstedt Holding AB for about MSEK 300 (EUR 31M).

Norway — Skanska has together with Cura-gruppen signed an agreement with Sykehuset Vestfold HF for the expansion of the hospital in Vestfold, Norway. The contract is totally worth EUR 186M. Skanska’s share of the contract is worth about EUR 105M.

Finland — Skanska has signed an agreement with Niam on the transfer of the office property Aviabulevardi I in Vantaa, Finland. The total value of the contract is EUR 36M. Skanska’s share of the deal excludes land and is worth EUR 31M.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Helsinki for the renovation of the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 156M.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with AMF Fastigheter to construct a new building for commercial and office premises in central Stockholm. The contract is worth about EUR 127M.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with Kainuu Social and Health Care Joint Authority for the construction of The Kainuu Central Hospital in Kajaani, Finland.
