Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with HAV Eiendom to build a hotel and retail space as well as to develop apartments in Bjørvika, Norway, one of Oslo's most sought after areas.

Sweden — Skanska has divested Vallastadens school in Linköping, Sweden, for MSEK 200 (€21M). The buyer is Vacse AB.

Norway — Skanska has bought the development property Sinsenveien 51-53 of Axer Eiendom AS. The net investment for residential purpose amounts to about SEK 360M, and will be recorded by Skanska Norway in the third quarter 2016.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Västfastigheter for the second phase of the construction of the new Regionens Hus in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is worth about MSEK 580.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract to build Orkla’s new headquarter in Oslo, Norway. The client is Drammensveien 149 Nybygg, a wholly owned subsidiary of Orkla Eiendom. The contract is worth MNOK 530 (€57M).

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Folksam on the transfer of the office at Malmö Live, Sweden, for SEK 580 M (€62,52 M).

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Ikano on the transfer of the office property Klipporna in Malmö, Sweden, for SEK 1 billion (€108M).

Denmark — Skanska invests DKK 560M (€ 75 M) in a new residential project in Ørestad City, Denmark.

Sweden — Alma Property Partners acquires the logistics property Nybro Tallen 58 in cooperation with P&E Fastighetspartner in a transaction with Skanska.

Sweden — Universum’s annual survey Företagsbarometern has now been made. Swedish university students have been asked about their future dream employers. The results show that Akademiska Hus is the Master of Science Engineering students’ favorite within real estate management while Svenska Bostäder is more popular within the Bachelor of Engineering students.

Norway — In just a few weeks Skanska Bygg Trondheim has secured four new construction projects with a total contract value of €110M (NOK 1 billion).

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune to build the new Heimdal school in Trondheim, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 580M (about €61 M).

Sweden — André Löfgren has been appointed Senior Vice President Investor Relations at Skanska. André succeeds Magnus Persson on the position as of February 17 and will report to Peter Wallin, CFO Skanska AB.

Denmark — Skanska Invests €37 M in the First Phase of Office Project in Ørestad City. The first phase will have a leasable area of around 11,500 sqm office space, of which Sweco Danmark will rent 10,500 sqm from april 2018.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with the investor Lähi Tapiola Group for the construction of Seppä shopping center in Jyväskylä, Finland. The contract value is EUR 57 M.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a ten year lease with Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden, which results in a construction contract worth about €107 M (SEK 1 billion). In addition, Skanska has received an order for conversion and extension of additional premises on the campus with an order value of about €54 M (SEK 500 M).

Sweden — Skanska Hyresbostäder begins a strategic cooperation with Folksam in regards to the divestment of newly produced housing properties. The cooperation encompasses a number of development projects that give Folksam the opportunity to exclusively acquire almost 600 apartments at a value of approximately SEK 1.3 billion (€140M).

Sweden — Swedish Skanska divests a 90 percent interest in its 400 Fairview project in Seattle, USA, for USD 235 million (€214 M), to TIAA-CREF, a leading financial services organization.

Sweden — Skanska´s nomination committee has proposed that Hans Biörck will be elected new Chairman at the annual general meeting on April 6, 2016.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Christiansholm Eiendom AS to build Kvartal 32 in Kristiansand, Norway. The contract includes both construction and renovation of a commercial building.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Ferd Eiendom to build an office property of 19,000 sqm outside Oslo.

Denmark — Swedish listed property company Balder acquires a residential project from Skanska in Copenhagen for approx. €136M.

Denmark — Offenbach – The open-ended special fund Notenstein Sustainable Real Estate Europe has purchased an office property in Denmark for €16.3 million from Skanska, a world leading project development and construction group.

Sweden — Balder acquires the office property Park 49 in Gothenburg from Skanska for MSEK 418 (€ 45 M).

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with E.C. Dahls Eiendom AS to refurbish existing facilities and construct new buildings at Sør-Trøndelag University College in Trondheim, Norway.
