Sweden — Skanska invests about EUR 138M in the office building Sthlm 01 in Stockholm, with a total leasable area of about 26,000 square meters.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Entra to build the world’s northernmost energy-positive office building in Trondheim, Norway. The contract is worth MNOK 370 (EUR 41M) which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Norway for the first quarter in 2017.

Sweden — Skanska has acquired land in Stockholm from the City of Stockholm for future office development. The total investment amounts to about MSEK 200 (EUR 21M). The plot is situated in Hammarby Sjöstad.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with ESS, European Spallation Source, to build the third phase of the research facility in Lund, Sweden. The contract is worth SEK 2.5 billion (EUR 259M) and the work is carried out by Skanska Sweden (75 percent) in cooperation with Skanska UK (25 percent).

Norway — Skanska invests about EUR 64M in a new office project in Oslo with a total leasable area of ​​24,000 square meters.

Sweden — Skanska is, together with its joint venture partner Carlyle, investing a total of EUR 120M in the apartment building The View in Nacka Strand, Sweden.

Norway — Skanska has bought the development property Sinsenveien 51-53 of Axer Eiendom AS. The net investment for residential purpose amounts to about SEK 360M, and will be recorded by Skanska Norway in the third quarter 2016.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Västfastigheter for the second phase of the construction of the new Regionens Hus in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is worth about MSEK 580.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract to build Orkla’s new headquarter in Oslo, Norway. The client is Drammensveien 149 Nybygg, a wholly owned subsidiary of Orkla Eiendom. The contract is worth MNOK 530 (€57M).

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Folksam on the transfer of the office at Malmö Live, Sweden, for SEK 580 M (€62,52 M).

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Ikano on the transfer of the office property Klipporna in Malmö, Sweden, for SEK 1 billion (€108M).

Denmark — Skanska invests DKK 560M (€ 75 M) in a new residential project in Ørestad City, Denmark.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune to build the new Heimdal school in Trondheim, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 580M (about €61 M).

Sweden — André Löfgren has been appointed Senior Vice President Investor Relations at Skanska. André succeeds Magnus Persson on the position as of February 17 and will report to Peter Wallin, CFO Skanska AB.

Denmark — Skanska Invests €37 M in the First Phase of Office Project in Ørestad City. The first phase will have a leasable area of around 11,500 sqm office space, of which Sweco Danmark will rent 10,500 sqm from april 2018.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with the investor Lähi Tapiola Group for the construction of Seppä shopping center in Jyväskylä, Finland. The contract value is EUR 57 M.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a ten year lease with Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden, which results in a construction contract worth about €107 M (SEK 1 billion). In addition, Skanska has received an order for conversion and extension of additional premises on the campus with an order value of about €54 M (SEK 500 M).

Sweden — Skanska Hyresbostäder begins a strategic cooperation with Folksam in regards to the divestment of newly produced housing properties. The cooperation encompasses a number of development projects that give Folksam the opportunity to exclusively acquire almost 600 apartments at a value of approximately SEK 1.3 billion (€140M).

Sweden — Swedish Skanska divests a 90 percent interest in its 400 Fairview project in Seattle, USA, for USD 235 million (€214 M), to TIAA-CREF, a leading financial services organization.
