“We are very pleased to strengthen our presence in Finland through the acquisition of these two daycare assets, with long lease agreements and a strong sustainability profile. The full occupancy rates clearly demonstrate the high demand for quality early childhood education in attractive locations,” says Sini Vuoristo, Head of Region Finland.

Both properties are fully-let to the private operator Peikkometsä Liikuntapäiväkoti under triple-net agreements, with a WAULT of approx. 19.5 years and an annual rental value of around EUR 500,000. The daycare in Nurmijärvi was completed in 2023, and construction of the building in Järvenpää is expected to be finalised in July 2025. Closing is scheduled for July and September, respectively.

“Finland is one of our key markets, and we are very pleased to add these assets to our portfolio. We also warmly welcome Peikkometsä as a new customer and are very pleased with the collaborating with Sievi Hyvinvointitilat – a specialised developer of social infrastructure with a clear sustainability commitment and expertise in traditional wooden construction. We see great potential to grow together with both the tenant and the developer,” says Jenny Rehn, CEO.
