The business centre will be built on a plot along Rautakatu. The warehouse buildings of the logistics company that previously operated on the site have been demolished. The total area of Prisma in Naantali will be approximately 10,500 gross square metres. Construction work has started and the building will be handed over to the client in summer 2026.
"We are delighted to start building a new Prisma for TOK in Naantali. We bring to the project our extensive experience in the implementation of similar commercial properties as well as our specialized expertise in building technology. SRV's own building technology team, assigned to the project, ensures that the building's technical systems and building automation are implemented with high quality and energy efficiency in mind," says Eerik Leivo, SRV's project manager for Southwest Finland.
"It is important to us that the new Prisma is built with quality and with consideration for environmental and energy efficiency aspects. The construction of Prisma Naantali, like other development projects in the Turku Osuuskauppa network, is guided by the goal of achieving carbon negativity in our operations. Prisma Naantali is the first environmentally certified site of the Turun Osuuskauppa. We look forward to the construction work getting fully underway soon," says property development manager Aleksi Viljanen from Turun Osuuskauppa.
The project aims for carbon neutrality in terms of heating and electricity consumption, and solar panels will be installed on the roof of the building. The project will seek LEED Gold certification.
