Emilstorp 1 has been part of Svenska Hus’ portfolio for a long period, but the company has now chosen to focus on areas of greater strategic importance.

“It is important for us to continuously review our portfolio and prioritize long-term sustainable investments. Emilstorp is an area we do not consider a priority in the company’s growth strategy, which made it natural to hand it over to an operator with strong local knowledge,” says Patrick Andersson, Head of Transactions and Finance at Svenska Hus.

The sale is part of Svenska Hus’ ongoing efforts to streamline and strengthen its property portfolio in selected growth regions.

“This is a good example of how we actively work to optimize our portfolio. Through a smooth and discreet transaction, we have been able to free up resources and focus on submarkets in Malmö where we see growth potential,” Andersson continues.

“By focusing on the right locations, we can increase the efficiency of our property management and create even better conditions for long-term satisfaction – both for our tenants and for us as property owners,” says Anna Hurtig, Regional Manager for Commercial Properties, Skåne, at Svenska Hus.

The buyer regards the transaction as a strategic acquisition:

“We see significant development potential in Emilstorp and are pleased with the opportunity to take over a property with strong fundamentals. This acquisition aligns fully with our ambition to grow in the Malmö region,” says Hussein Hassoun, CEO of Fastighetsförvaltning Potenza AB.
