Vasakronan has divested the property Kvarngärdet 1:19 in Uppsala at an agreed property value of SEK 193 million. The transaction is carried out as part of Vasakronan’s long-term strategy for the continuous development and optimisation of its property portfolio. The buyer is Donald Ericsson Fastigheter AB, a family-owned company based in Uppsala.
Kvarngärdet 1:19, also known as Tornet, was constructed in 1990 and is located at Ljusbärargatan 2 in the Kvarngärdet district of Uppsala. The property comprises approximately 5,100 square metres, of which 4,400 square metres are allocated to office, healthcare, and educational use. The remaining areas consist of storage space.
The agreement was signed on 19 December 2025, and the buyer took possession of the property on 28 January 2026.
