The asset, which was completed in 2024, is a residential complex comprising a mix of long-term and short-term residential apartments across 96 units and located attractively in a vibrant neighbourhood with strong residential appeal and with close proximity to public transport, local amenities and green spaces.
Developed to high specifications, the asset features a strong ESG profile and is fully let at time of takeover, highlighting robust demand for residential housing in the area and supporting its long-term investment potential.
The acquisition aligns with Niam’s real estate strategy of investing in well-located residential assets in the Nordics, where supply/demand fundamentals are healthy and opportunities for value creation through active ownership are present.
“We are pleased to have completed this acquisition in central Copenhagen, which is consistent with our focus of investing in urban residential assets, which we can see are in clear demand from tenants” said Victor Wettergren, Fund Manager of the Core-Plus strategy at Niam.
Niam is already an experienced local manager of residential assets across Denmark, which this asset will benefit from, the company writes.
“We look forward to adding our touch to the asset by combining our local knowledge of the Danish residential rental market and our customer-centric view on how to efficiently operate and optimized it going forward,” said Jacob de Lichtenberg, Country Manager Denmark at Niam.
