Nordic — Castlelake, a global alternative investment manager specializing in asset-based private credit, and Niam Credit, an alternative credit provider in Northern Europe, announce a strategic partnership to provide financing solutions to the Nordic real estate market. The partnership will focus on whole loan lending in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, with a target deployment of EUR 1 billion.

Sweden — Niam acquires a prime logistics asst in the strategically positioned and expanding Klinga Logistics Park, just south of Norrköping city centre. The newly developed asset encompasses 30,412 sqm of modern logistics space, constructed in 2023, and showcases high sustainability standards with a BREEAM Excellent certification.

Sweden — Niam acquires 203 rental apartments in rapidly growing Barkarbystaden from Citycon.

Denmark — Niam expands Danish residential portfolio with acquisition of 51 newly built terraced houses.

Sweden — Storsala has, in collaboration with Niam and Derome, acquired building rights for housing in the Ursvik district in Sundbyberg municipality. The plan is to develop 11,000 square meters spread over 227 rental apartments. The building will be built in wood and will be environmentally certified with the aim of achieving at least Miljöbyggnad Silver.

Sweden — Niam acquires logistic development site with Nordsten Development.

Nordic — Niam announces the final close of Niam Nordic VIII. The fund has successfully secured EUR 805 million in equity commitments, excluding co-investment capital. This milestone establishes Niam Nordic VIII as the second largest opportunistic fund in Niam's history. Over the past 12 months, the team has successfully deployed a majority of this capital into primarily the Nordic residential and logistics sectors along with other opportunity driven investments.

Finland — Niam has successfully acquired a portfolio of three healthcare and hospital properties in Finland, totalling 18,000 square metres. The portfolio comprises two properties located in central Helsinki (Bulevardi 22 and Saukonpaadenranta 2) and one in the heart of Pori (Itsenäisyydenkatu 33). The seller is the EQ Community Properties Fund.

Sweden — Niam has acquired a prime logistics asset in Torsvik, Jönköping. The property has been continuously extended and spans 112,000 sqm, featuring automated high-rack storage, direct railway access and environmental certification according to BREEAM In-Use Very Good.

Sweden — Niam has signed a forward commitment acquisition of a last-mile logistics asset in Arlandastad, offering direct connections to the E4 highway, Arlanda Airport, Rosersberg and the Mälardalen region.

Finland — Niam and Kuuskodit Investment Management are excited to announce the launch of a new joint venture, an initiative to enhance family living through the development of terraced family houses, tailored for the rental market in the Finish growth triangle HMA, Tampere and Turku. The investment strategy focuses on providing optimal living spaces for families, setting new standards in the design and functionality of rental residential housing.

Norway — Niam continues its Nordic expansion in the logistics market with the acquisition of a 64,000 square meter Norwegian logistics property from Logistic Contractor.

Denmark — Niam is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Danish speciality property management company Futurum ApS. With its team of 25 employees, Futurum holds a deep segment expertise complemented with all necessary systems and processes in place for residential management.

Denmark — Niam is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 7300 sqm office property, strategically situated in Greater Copenhagen, with Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company as the exclusive tenant. The seller is Danish pension fund Industriens Pension and the acquisition price is DKK 130 million (EUR 17.4 million).

Sweden — Niam has signed an agreement to acquire the office property Smultronet 6 on Fleminggatan in central Stockholm from Union Investment. The property comprises approximately 11,000 square meters of leasable space and was previously mostly occupied by HSB, which vacated before the summer. Niam will now develop the property into modern office solutions, contributing to the continual positive development of office spaces on Kungsholmen.

Sweden — Niam acquires a Nordic logistics portfolio with assets in Borås, Ljungby, and Halmstad from Savills IM.

Finland — The City of Helsinki is planning to sell Tennispalatsi located in Helsinki city centre to Niam. Catella acted as financial advisor to the City of Helsinki in the sales process.

Sweden — Martin Bjöörn has joined Niam as a Portfolio Manager and will focus on retail properties. With over 20 years of experience in the retail market Bjöörn will play an important role to seize the opportunities within the Nordic retail market.
