SPG is further strengthening its position within social infrastructure through the acquisition of seven properties located in the Greater Stockholm area and Småland. The acquisition includes both fully developed units and ongoing development projects.
All properties are used for LSS operations (the Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and are leased to established care operators with a strong presence in the Swedish healthcare and social care sector.
The acquisitions form part of SPG’s growth strategy within the social infrastructure segment and further strengthen the company’s portfolio through stable cash flows and long-term tenant relationships. As of today, the portfolio comprises approximately 15 properties with a combined value of around SEK 400 million.
“The acquisitions are fully aligned with our investment strategy within the segment. The properties are of a high standard and have an average lease term of approximately 17 years. We are currently working on several additional acquisitions as part of this initiative,” says Björn Alexanderson, Partner at SPG.
