The properties, Runö 7:93 and Runö 7:104, comprise offices, a gym, warehouse and light industrial space and have a broad base of local tenants. The combined site area amounts to 4,078 square metres. The seller is Menir Fastigheter Åkersberga AB.
The properties are located in the Runö industrial area, adjacent to Kanalstaden and the ongoing development around Åkers Canal in central Åkersberga. Österåker Municipality is planning an urban mix of residential, workplaces and services in the area. The location is central, approximately a ten-minute walk from Åkersberga Centrum and the Roslagsbanan commuter rail, which reaches eastern Stockholm in just over 30 minutes.
Storsala intends to manage the properties and develop the existing cash flows. Following the acquisition, the company’s ambition is to initiate a planning process with the aim of enabling future residential development.
“These properties combine stable income from day one with long-term development potential in a growing area. This gives us good opportunities to create value through active asset management while also exploring the potential for future residential development,” says Sofia Folstad, Head of Transactions at Storsala.
Storsala took possession of the properties on August 24, 2026.
Osborne Clarke acted as legal advisor to Storsala in connection with the transaction.
