In the middle of Stockholm's city center at Sergels Torg, the transformation of the Sergelhuset, a property and a city development project, is underway, comprising three buildings totaling 60,000 square meters located along Malmskillnadsgatan, Hamngatan and Sveavägen.

AWS, which has had Cushman & Wakefield as advisors in the deal, rents a total of 6,000 square meters of office space on three floors, 9-11, with the main entrance from Malmskillnadsgatan.

"The Sergelhuset is Vasakronan's largest urban development project. When the property is completed in autumn 2020, a whole new neighborhood with new content will be presented. Opening up the neighborhood and creating more life and movement in the area is a promise we have given to the City of Stockholm. With a good tenant mix, restaurants, service and Arena, our own coworking concept, we deliver on that promise," says Johanna Skogestig, CEO of Vasakronan.

AWS will move in in 2021.
