The tenant is KMD, one of Denmark’s largest IT and software companies.
“The investment in the three KMD properties is a part of our strategy to expand our portfolio with office properties in good locations, strong tenants and long term leases. We believe that this investment will give our members good yields in the future” says Torben Möger Pedersen, CEO at Pension Danmark.
“KMD has had a good cooperation with Kombit and we look forward to having it with Pension Danmark as well” says Lisbeth Hald, Head of HR & Facility Management, KMD. The Ballerup property encompasses 45,960 sqm, 16,694 sqm in Odense and 25,981 sqm in Aalborg.
Through this investment Pension Danmark owns properties in Denmark at a value of approximately DKK 11 billion (€1.35 billion). Pension Danmark is a non-profit labour market pension fund established in 1993. It offers defined contribution pension, insurance and health care products on the basis of collective agreements covering more than 660,000 individuals employed in more than 24,000 companies within the private and public sector.
In 2014, premiums of DKK 12,489 (€ 1,67 billion) made Pension Danmark the fourth largest pension company in Denmark. Assets under management were DKK 171 billion (€ 22.9 billion) at the end of 2014.
