Minister of Justice Nick Hækkerup has announced that he wants to resign from the government and from the Folketing to become Director of the Danish Brewery Association. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Integration Mattias Tesfaye will therefore be appointed Minister of Justice later today, Minister of the Interior and Housing Kaare Dybvad Bek will be appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Integration.

As Kaare Dybvad Bek takes up his new position, the vacant spot as Minister of the Interior and Housing will be filled by Christian Rabjerg Madsen. He is a member of the Social Democratic party and prior to his appointment as Minister of the Interior and Housing he was an MP of the Danish Folketing.
