A Finnish real estate company Avain Yhtiöt has sold an office complex in the new block area in Pasila to A. Ahlström Real Estate. In addition to the office, Avain Yhtiöt is building three 13-16 story tower buildings in the block, with a total of approximately 200 cozy rental apartments planned. Construction work at the corner of Veturitie and Radioportti began in early 2025.

The office building is located in central Pasila, in the immediate vicinity of the Tripla shopping center, with excellent transport connections. The area has previously been used as a railway yard, but through zoning, it is being transformed into a modern residential and business environment that complements Pasila's developing urban landscape.

The office offers modern and adaptable premises for up to 450 employees. The short distance to Pasila's train station and the Tripla shopping center makes it easily accessible for both employees and partners. Avain Yhtiöt serves as the anchor tenant in the new premises.

“There is a constant demand for modern and high-quality commercial premises in the best areas of Helsinki. Companies value work environments that support efficient and comfortable working. It is great that we can enable such a significant construction project right now. Pasila as a location is excellent,” says Peter Ahlström, CEO of A. Ahlström Real Estate.

“Pasila is Finland's best location in terms of transportation and the center of commercial construction in Helsinki. Our project combines housing, workplaces, and services in a unique way. There is demand for modern urban apartments and commercial premises in Pasila, and we have been involved in the development of the area for a long time,” says Perttu Liukku, CEO of Avain Yhtiöt.

Construction work on the plot began in early 2025, and the building will reach its highest point during 2025. The office building is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
