Student and youth housing is not a core part of Heimstaden Bostad’s strategy, which remains focused on mid-market residential real estate. As such, Heimstaden Bostad continuously reviews the composition of its portfolio and consider adjustments as part of its ongoing portfolio management.
“The divestment of this asset represents another step in our ongoing efforts to optimise the portfolio in line with our strategic priorities. The gap between buyers and sellers in the market is narrowing, and we saw this as a good opportunity to divest the property at an attractive price,” says Christian Fladeland, Co-CEO of Heimstaden Bostad.
