Forsvarsbygg plays a key role in the long-term planning of the defence sector, where property, building and construction (EBA) is central to Norway's defence capability. The new framework agreement enables comprehensive and continuous planning of EBA, including the development of structural plans, long-term perspective plans and Forsvarsbygg's project portfolio.
Advansia benefits from expertise across Afry and collaborates with the consultancy company Opak and the research organisation Sintef to ensure both breadth and depth in its deliveries.
"Building a strong team that can deliver quality at every stage is crucial for us. Through our holistic approach, we look forward to strengthening the operational capabilities of the defence and supporting their important societal missions," says Per Åkerman, Head of Public & Commercial Places, Norway.
Afry has extensive experience from the defence sector throughout Scandinavia. In Norway, Advansia already has several national framework agreements with Forsvarsbygg for project and construction management. The new agreement gives Forsvarsbygg access to a wide range of Afry's strategic competencies.
A total of three suppliers has been awarded this framework agreement with Forsvarsbygg, with a total estimated value of approximately 275 million Norwegian kroner over five years. The order value for Afry is not disclosed.
