Hines is one of the world's largest privately held real estate investment managers, with approximately USD 91 billion in assets under management. The investment is being made through Hines European Real Estate Partners IV (HEREP IV). Founders Andreas and Robin Rutili will continue to own 50 percent of the joint venture.

The portfolio has an estimated market value upon completion of more than SEK 10 billion. Under the partnership, Vincero Fastigheter will remain responsible for project development, detailed development planning and execution. Hines will contribute its international platform and extensive experience in developing and managing large-scale residential communities.

"We have built up an extensive portfolio of residential development rights in attractive locations across the Stockholm region, which is now entering the execution phase. With Hines, we gain a partner with extensive international experience in large-scale residential development and the financial strength required to fully realize the potential of our development areas," says Andreas Rutili, co-founder of Vincero Fastigheter.

"The investment is a natural next step for Hines in its expansion into the Swedish residential market. Together with Vincero Fastigheter, we are well positioned to develop one of the region's largest residential portfolios and create long-term value for both investors and future residents," says Staffan Unge, Country Head Nordics at Hines.

Born Law acted as legal advisor to Vincero Fastigheter in the transaction.
