Norway’s Largest Shopping Center

Norway — Real estate legend Olav Thon plans an expansion of the shopping center Amfi on Moa.<br /> The expansion will be approximately 28,000 sqm, which mean that the retail area will be a total of 137,000 sqm.<br />

On Wednesday Olav Thon visited Ålesund and Moa to present the new plans.

Among other things Amfi will contain a new movie theatre that with its six salons will be the largest between Bergen and Trondheim on the Norwegian West Coast.

There will also be a two-story playground and a training center, Sunnemørsposten writes.

The investment is approximately NOK 1 billion (€108M).

Olav Thon also presented plans of a retail park in Breivika next to Moa of approximately 20,000 sqm.
